Le climat devient aride, la verdure quasi inexistante, rien que de regarder l\u2019horizon nous donne soif. Cet article est la premi\u00e8re partie de la d\u00e9couverte des parcs nationaux de l\u2019Utah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un peu de repos \u00e0 Salt Lake City<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s tant d\u2019intensit\u00e9 \u00e0 Yellowstone, il est temps de se reposer quelques jours. On se r\u00e9serve donc un AirBnb \u00e0 <strong>Salt Lake City<\/strong>. On en profite pour laver notre linge et nos draps. Petit passage chez le garagiste familial situ\u00e9 \u00e0 deux pas de notre logement qui, apr\u00e8s avoir inspect\u00e9 notre v\u00e9hicule, nous dit qu\u2019il ne peut rien identifier \u00e0 cause de tous les bruits que fait notre vieil engin. Conclusion: on ira chez le garagiste seulement s\u2019il y a casse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:38% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/cametvico.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/InShot_20221021_182750098.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1199 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Une fois requinqu\u00e9s, on roule direction <strong>Moab<\/strong>, au beau milieu du d\u00e9sert, le long des plaines rougeoyantes creus\u00e9es de canyons vertigineux. En feuilletant le Routard, on d\u00e9cide de s\u2019arr\u00eater manger \u00ab\u00a0o\u00f9 les locaux mangent\u00a0\u00bb, au <em>Farlaino\u2019s<\/em>. La devanture n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s aguicheuse, on n\u2019aurait jamais mis un pied ici. Et pourtant, pour vraiment pas cher, on s\u2019est enfil\u00e9 un \u00e9norme burger et l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de deux grosses patates en\u00a0<em>curly fries<\/em>, avec un gros gobelet de gla\u00e7ons au soda. C\u2019est \u00e7a l\u2019Am\u00e9rique!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Notre premi\u00e8re nuit nous donne un bon aper\u00e7u des panoramas qui vont suivre. De l\u00e0, le parc offre un condens\u00e9 des paysages de l\u2019Ouest. La visite se fait essentiellement en voiture #GrosRicains mais on y fera tout de m\u00eame plusieurs petites marches pour aller voir des points de vue grandioses. C\u2019est super ludique, on grimpe \u00e0 m\u00eame la roche et les panoramas sont impressionnants. Mais quand on s\u2019est point\u00e9s la veille, \u00e0 9h, il affichait complet avec une indication: \u00ab&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;revenez dans 3 \u00e0 5 heures&nbsp;\u00bb\u2026 Pour conna\u00eetre l\u2019horaire de r\u00e9ouverture, le parc tweet. Notre strat\u00e9gie pour le visiter est donc d\u2019y aller \u00e0 la r\u00e9ouverture, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement vers 12\/13h. \u00c7a tombe bien, on voulait suivre le live F4 de Squeezie ce matin l\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arches est un petit parc. Une route de 37 kms le traverse enti\u00e8rement. Il est connu et tire son nom (tr\u00e8s original comme d\u2019hab) de ses plus de 2000 arches naturelles de pierre. Pour cette premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e, enfin, fin d\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, on se lance sur le sentier du <em><strong>Devil\u2019s Garden<\/strong><\/em>. Le long de cette boucle de 13 kms, on d\u00e9couvre sept arches plus spectaculaires les unes que les autres. En bonus, le sentier est inhabituel. On marche au sommet des roches, on escalade, on saute, tout ce qui est normalement interdit. Un sentiment de libert\u00e9 devant un panorama incroyable avec le soleil couchant: clairement notre coup de c\u0153ur. Cette fois-ci, on entre vers 8h avant la fermeture matinale. On fait plusieurs sentiers, et oui, les arches \u00e7a se m\u00e9rite ! Vers 12h, sous un soleil de plomb (mais au moins \u00e7a fait fuir les gros am\u00e9ricains), on marche le long du&nbsp;<em>trail&nbsp;<\/em>de la <em><strong>Delicate Arch.<\/strong><\/em> C\u2019est la plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre, l\u2019ic\u00f4ne au parc. On l\u2019avait vue plus t\u00f4t, de tr\u00e8s tr\u00e8s loin, et on ne s\u2019attendait pas \u00e0 la voir de si pr\u00e8s! Une randonneuse nous annonce \u00ab&nbsp;<em>beautiful view, right around the corner<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb et elle avait raison ! Au sommet, on arrive directement au pied de l\u2019arche pos\u00e9e au bord de la falaise, surplombant un amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre rocheux. Sur le retour, arr\u00eat obligatoire au pied du&nbsp;<em><strong>Balanced Rock<\/strong><\/em>, un rocher en \u00e9quilibre \u00e0 40m du sol. Plut\u00f4t surprenant, on se demande combien de temps il va tenir.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"461\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/cametvico.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Compress_20221022_094513_3719-461x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1204\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canyonlands again &#8211; The Needles Overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les deux autres zones du parc Canyonlands sont moins accessibles que celle qu\u2019on a visit\u00e9; mais on fait quand m\u00eame un arr\u00eat au&nbsp;<em>Needles Overlook<\/em>, au bout du bout d\u2019une bifurcation de 25 kms. De l\u00e0, un vaste panorama sublime sur le canyon, o\u00f9 r\u00e8gne un silence royal. Le petit plus, c\u2019est l\u2019emplacement d\u00e9nich\u00e9 le long de cette route:&nbsp;<em>the big rock&nbsp;<\/em>sur iOverlander. On est gar\u00e9 au pied d\u2019un \u00e9norme rocher et on profite de notre meilleur spot \u00e0 date ! On cuisine des cr\u00eapes, Camille coupe les cheveux de Victor, on creuse un trou pour d\u00e9f\u00e9quer et on se douche nus sous un arbre.
